Virtual Care Veterinarian (Remote)

About the role

Provide veterinary care remotely to pets in need across various locations including New Orleans, LA / Alexandria, LA / Baton Rouge, LA / Chattanooga, TN / Knoxville, TN / Memphis, TN / Casper, WY / Cheyenne, WY / Jackson, WY / Cody, WY / Louisiana / Wyoming / Nashville, TN / Tennessee / Murfreesboro, TN.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of pet medical conditions remotely using telemedicine tools.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment plans based on consultations with clients.
• Communicate with clients via phone, video calls, and email to discuss pet health concerns and treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in the client's electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Current veterinary license in good standing.
• Experience with remote veterinary care and telemedicine.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in veterinary practice.
