About the Role

We are looking to hire a CFP® professional with 2–5 years of financial planning industry experience. This role is designed as the first step towards becoming a Lead Advisor within 3 years. You will gradually grow more comfortable and confident onboarding and taking care of Drucker Wealth clients. This is a high-impact associate role where you’ll learn to build financial plans, handle meeting prep, agendas, follow-ups, deliver financial advice, and gain the mentorship and exposure needed to lead client relationships at Drucker Wealth.

This is not a “forever in the support chair” role—we want you to be ready to take on client relationships as soon as possible. If you thrive in a collaborative, process-driven environment and aspire to provide meaningful financial advice and a proactive client experience, we want to meet you. This is a full-time, entirely remote W-2 position.

Requirements

  • CFP® professional or Candidate
  • 2-5 years of support experience in Financial Planning (or coming out of a Financial Planning Program)
  • Comfortable in client-facing settings, with strong communication and listening skills
  • Skilled at working within structured processes and workflows
  • Deeply interested in learning tax & estate planning, and complex planning topics
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple follow-ups and open loops
  • Familiar with industry software (Right Capital, Orion, Altruist, Fidelity, etc.) or eager to learn
  • Thrives in a team-first, “no job too small” environment
  • Continuous learner with a desire to relentlessly improve processes
  • Naturally curious and always asking, “how can we do this better?”
  • Resonates with Drucker Wealth company core values
  • Demonstrated obsession with financial planning and extreme ownership; views work as a passion, not a “job”
  • Passionate about building and maintaining client relationships; highly motivated to explore and maximize planning opportunities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Loves technology and trying new things
  • Ability to independently diagnose problems and propose creative solutions; resourceful and takes initiative
  • Absolute integrity and trust with open and honest communication, given the work-from-home setup
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to read people and respond with empathy
  • Sense of humor (or at least can make fun of yourself from time to time!)

Responsibilities

  • Participate in meetings through every phase of the client journey (Discovery Meetings, Input Meetings, Delivery Meetings, Strategy Meetings, and Review Meetings) and take detailed notes; involvement and responsibility in meetings will gradually increase
  • Build out financial plans, create client meeting agendas, develop recommendations, and create “presentation-ready” plan deliverables
  • Own data entry and plan construction in Right Capital, Better Proposals, and other planning & presentation tools
  • Collaborate with Lead Advisors to develop recommendations, financial deliverables, and client agendas
  • Draft emails and follow-up notes to ensure implementation of next steps
  • Track open tasks, manage plan timelines, and ensure no detail falls through the cracks
  • Work with our onboarding specialist to guide new clients through the onboarding process
  • Communicate with clients to clarify details, follow up on requests, and provide a high-touch experience
  • Coordinate with in-house tax & estate specialists and third-party professionals as needed
  • Document activity and maintain accurate records in CRM and planning systems
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, updating workflows and client processes as needed
  • Communicate directly with our Operations team regarding account openings, cash transfers, investment strategy, etc., and understand the flow of business
  • Participate in dedicated training sessions (technical financial planning, deliverables, client communication, etc.) while always looking to improve and add to our existing processes

Why You’ll Be a Great Fit

  • You care deeply about doing right by clients and delivering thoughtful, high-quality planning
  • You want to be a lead advisor in the next 3 years
  • You’re hungry to learn, especially in areas like tax strategy, equity comp, and estate planning
  • You’re comfortable taking ownership of your work and seeing tasks through without reminders
  • You communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy
  • You get energy from being part of a tight-knit, high-performing team
  • You love a good process and know when to improve one

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with young families and a particular area of focus in financial planning (education planning, tax strategy, estate planning, equity compensation, etc.)
  • Created (from scratch) 50+ complete financial plans in leading software, preferably Right Capital
  • Experience with Right Capital, Better Proposals, Hazel AI, Slant CRM, Gamma
  • Familiarity (if not downright obsessed) with listening to and learning from Michael Kitces, Nick Murray, Carl Richards, Morgan Housel, Ben Carlson, and Nick Magguili

Career Growth at Drucker Wealth

We have no cap on future advisors, team members, new clients, or opportunities. We are poised for our next stage of growth and have committed to an associate advisor training program that supports this growth. We are building a true Diamond Team Structure and prefer to train and develop new advisors rather than hire lead advisors.

As a family-owned, boutique firm, there is no artificial limit on future income, role, title, or opportunity. You’ll work closely with our Lead Advisors and have access to weekly mentorship, internal training, and ongoing learning opportunities. Our goal is for every Associate Advisor to grow into a client-facing Lead after 1–3 years, fully trained in the Drucker Wealth Financial Life Plan® process, client philosophy, and planning systems.

The firm handles business development, prospecting, and sends warm prospects to our advisor team regularly. Your ability to grow client relationships, increase assets under management, and grow managed revenue will be a by-product of delivering an excellent client experience.

Pay

$75k–$95k base salary + bonus. Clear and tangible metrics to grow compensation over time as you progress through the Advisor Career Track and as the firm grows.

Benefits

  • After the 6-month trial period: 401k program with a 4% match, partially subsidized health insurance, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, and parental leave
  • Semi-annual retreats where the team flies into NYC for 3–4 days of meals, happy hours, future planning, and activities
  • Flexible schedule as long as work is completed on time and agreed-upon client and team meetings are attended
  • Paid advanced training in mutually agreed-upon areas that benefit your career and our clients (e.g., communication training, advanced industry credentials, technical financial planning, conferences)
  • Valuable mentorship and an education-rich environment

About Drucker Wealth

Hi! My name is Gideon Drucker, CFP® AIF® ECA, President & CEO at Drucker Wealth. Our Wealth Builder Division focuses on working with high-income individuals and families (aged 35–55) motivated to build a financial roadmap for their future with a trusted partner that grows with them as their lives evolve. We created this division approximately 7 years ago after realizing how much we love working with motivated professionals in the decades before retirement age.

We are an independent RIA working virtually (with clients and team members around the country), with roots (and clients!) going back 3 generations. We operate as a family business, and our clients are people we genuinely enjoy working with. We believe in “brutal honesty and radical transparency” and strongly emphasize educating clients on how behavior impacts financial preparedness. The two communities we serve are pre-retirees and mid-career HENRYs (High Earners Not Rich Yet), each with separate areas of focus and different Drucker Wealth Lead Advisors.
