About Blue Highway

Blue Highway is for artists shaped by the miles that brought them here. It is a place where they can flourish and excel. This label supports artists and songwriters at the source. It starts where the art begins and provides the structure to carry it further. It has the identity to start small and the scale to grow, not just music, but into film, television, documentary, partnerships, and commercial storytelling. It is a label, but it is also a world. It can hold narratives and visuals. It can hold culture. It can hold careers. We believe in the importance of the song: its craftsmanship, its clarity, its reflection of the human spirit, and its ability to outlast trends. Blue Highway stands for integrity, character, and the enduring idea that the road you travel becomes a large part of who you are.

About the Team

The Audience Development team at Blue Highway Records is dedicated to building artist careers at the intersection of music and internet culture. We develop online fan communities, partner with creators, and build the platform-native strategies that connect our roster with new audiences every day.

Position Overview

We're looking for an extremely online marketer to join us as our next Viral Marketing Intern. You'll support day-to-day audience growth across our artist and community accounts - assisting with content publishing, grassroots community building, and creator partnerships across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms, and helping develop strategies that authentically resonate with country music fans. This is a hands-on role on an agile, fast-moving team. You'll be trusted with real work from day one. This position will be based out of our Nashville office.

Interns must be available regularly and reliably from August 24 to November 20, 2026. Interns will be expected to attend an in-person onboarding on Monday, August 24th from 10-11am, as well as recurring in-person internship meetings every Friday from 12-2pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support content development and day-to-day publishing across artist and community accounts
  • Contribute to grassroots community building online - helping our artists show up as part of the conversation, not just in it
  • Assist the team with creator and influencer partnership campaigns from outreach through execution
  • Monitor emerging platforms, trends, and creators, and surface timeline opportunities to the team
  • Help develop platform-specific content strategies alongside the Audience Development team
  • Report on initiatives and performance during weekly team meetings
  • Support our college ambassador program
  • Help maintain the team's tracking and operations systems

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree, or recently graduated, in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Music Business, or a related field
  • Deeply online - you're the person your friends text when an artist is about to blow up
  • Passion for music, technology, and internet culture; interest in country music strongly preferred
  • Fluent in TikTok, Snap, Youtube, and Instagram; familiarity with emerging platforms, streaming services, or video editing tools is a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter with creativity and curiosity
