Responsibilities
- Use various inspection devices/methods to complete in process inspection plans.
- Work with manufacturing personnel to improve process and reduce defects.
- Accept conforming or reject defective non-conforming components.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Work under very limited supervision and must be self-starters and problem solvers
- Detail oriented
- Time management skills
- Knowledge of computer skills
- Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
- Ability to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of inspection equipment used in the inspection process (e.g. optical comparator, calipers, radius gauge, etc.)
- GD&T knowledge
- NET-Inspect experience
- Familiarity with machine shop process and environment
