Violin Teacher
About the role
The Violin Teacher at Piano Central Studios will teach students ages 6 and up, from beginners to advanced, through private lessons. The ideal candidate is a capable violin instructor who enjoys helping students grow in skill and confidence, is warm and personable, with the ability to connect with students and communicate well with parents, organized and dependable, with initiative and strong follow-through, and excited about being part of our growing, thriving program at PCS.
Responsibilities
- Teach private violin lessons to students aged 6 and up
- Work closely with students and parents to create a positive, motivating experience
- Support students in developing their musical skills and confidence
- Connect with students and communicate effectively with parents
- Be organized and dependable, with initiative and strong follow-through
- Participate in training and development opportunities provided by PCS
Requirements
- A degree in music
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of others
- A willingness to consider a minimum 2–3 year commitment to PCS

Pay
$35.00 per hour
Schedule
This position is year-round, with the majority of teaching happening Monday through Friday during the early afternoons and evenings. Saturday teaching is optional.
