About the role
The LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a creative and experienced Violence Prevention Curriculum Developer / Digital Learning Specialist to design, develop, and implement digital courses aimed at preventing domestic violence, sexual violence, gun violence, and other forms of interpersonal harm.
Responsibilities
- Design evidence-informed digital learning modules and curriculum focused on violence prevention and harm reduction.
- Develop interactive content suitable for online delivery, including videos, quizzes, case studies, and resource guides.
- Collaborate with social workers, mental health specialists, and reentry staff to ensure content is culturally competent, trauma-informed, and relevant to the target population.
- Integrate evaluation metrics into courses to assess effectiveness and engagement.
- Maintain and update digital content to reflect best practices and current research in violence prevention.
- Provide support to instructors or facilitators delivering content to participants in person or online.
Requirements
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or digital learning.
- Knowledge of violence prevention, social services, or criminal justice programming.
- Strong writing, communication, and digital content creation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Experience working with justice-involved populations or in community-based prevention programs.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning software.
- Background in trauma-informed care, social work, or behavioral health.
