About the role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to serve as Deputy Site Manager (M/F) for the Lisbon region, reinforcing the Production Department of MAP Group, a leading company in construction and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate the construction site with all Production Support Departments.
• Prepare the project re-budget.
• Consult, negotiate, and award subcontracts and supply contracts for materials and equipment.
• Execute and rigorously monitor the work plan.
• Manage daily human resources, materials, equipment, and costs, ensuring quality and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise Quality, Safety, and Environmental control on-site in coordination with the Safety Technician and Foreman.
• Prepare measurement reports for subcontractors and production reports for the Client.
• Manage contractual relationships with the Client and Supervision.
• Control the economic aspects of the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Integrated Master’s degree (post-Bologna) in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Deputy Site Manager in leading market companies (preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• General computer skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Project.
