Village Kids Team Member

About the role

Village Health Clubs and Spas are looking for a Child Care Assistant to provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for children aged 8 weeks to 12 years. The ideal candidate will interact positively with both members and guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in members and children
• Provide high-quality care and attention to each child
• Affectionately watch and attend to children, ensuring their safety
• Offer engaging activities for children in the Nursery and Kids Club
• Maintain the nursery and kids club in a clean and organized manner
• Communicate professionally with parents
• Work collaboratively with other staff members
• Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work well with children
• Positive, energetic, and friendly demeanor with strong verbal communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire through company training

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Village Health Clubs & Spas standards
• Experience with children's care and development
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, grasping, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and children

Skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Positive attitude and energy
