Videographer/Editor (Part-Time)
About the role
WSTM/WSTQ/WTVH is looking for a creative part-time Videographer/Editor. We are seeking someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. You will cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments. We are shooting full high definition (HD) on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops.
Responsibilities
- Cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments
- Shoot full high definition (HD) on media cards and edit on desktops and laptops
- Edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages
Requirements
- Strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems
- Excellent people skills, strong work ethic, and great attitude
- Passion for storytelling is absolutely essential
- Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles
- Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
Pay
The hourly compensation range for this role is $17 to $20 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
