About the role

Lexitas is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Video Specialist to support our growing legal video and remote proceedings operations. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, accurately synchronized video recordings for depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Synchronize, process, edit, and perform quality control on legal video files for depositions, hearings, and related proceedings.
  • Produce and deliver high-quality synchronized video files in client-requested formats while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Export, convert, upload, and distribute video files in multiple formats based on operational and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of post-production work, recordings, exhibits, uploads, file transfers, and remote event documentation in accordance with company procedures.
  • Support and help train team members on synchronization workflows, editing processes, and video production best practices.
  • Operate and monitor video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet to ensure seamless virtual proceedings.
  • Use OBS Studio to record and manage high-quality audio and video for remote legal events.
  • Monitor and record live proceedings, ensuring recording integrity, participant connectivity, and overall event success.
  • Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and platform issues in real time with minimal supervision.
  • Provide professional technical and customer support to clients, attorneys, court reporters, vendors, and internal teams before, during, and after proceedings.
  • Communicate relevant updates to peers, leadership, and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal support services preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with video production, editing, or live/virtual event coordination is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a remote or hybrid environment preferred.
