Responsibilities

  • Support camera operation and lighting for field production.
  • Research and pitch story ideas that align with content strategies and goals.
  • Write and edit copy under deadline.
  • Edit for multi-platform content for broadcast and digital.
  • Support other production team duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
  • Production experience in an internship or professional setting, including recording and editing.
  • Field videography experience.
  • Experience with research and writing for film or television production.
  • Familiarity with Adobe software systems.
  • Experience in creating engaging digital content for various platforms.
  • Experience conducting or assisting with research at the college level.

Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 to negotiable. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

Successful candidates will be expected to travel as needed.

Schedule

Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Evenings and weekends as needed.
