Video Producer (Talent and Learning)

About the role

Bandwidth is a global software company specializing in voice, messaging, and emergency services. The Video Producer for Talent & Learning plays a crucial role in creating engaging and effective video content for employee training and development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video productions from concept to completion, including filming, editing, sourcing b-roll, creating voiceovers, selecting music, and animating content.
• Proactively explore and implement AI tools to maximize efficiency and modernize training content.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide integrated multimedia solutions to solve business challenges.
• Create engaging scripts that prioritize learner retention and simplify complex training materials.
• Execute and oversee a standardized video review and QA process, ensuring adherence to production best practices.
• Direct and execute videography in-studio and on location, focusing on enhancing the final product.
• Maintain a monthly dashboard of content engagement and KPIs, providing recommendations for continued growth.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast turnaround environment.
• Provide light coaching to subject matter experts to help them feel comfortable and effective on camera.
• Stay updated on digital learning and video technology trends to suggest innovative approaches.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 3–5 years of professional video production experience, including storyboarding, audio capture, lighting setup, and camera operation.
• Strong ability to simplify the complex and communicate technical artistic thoughts and ideas to various audiences.
• A strong interest in using AI tools to streamline production and create innovative content.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a highly approachable attitude and strong interviewing abilities.
• Exceptional storytelling and technical abilities, up to and including scriptwriting for video.
• Experience or interest in adult learning principles or educational content design.
• Proficient in animation, photography, and design, with fluency in Premiere Pro.
• Strong familiarity with After Effects and Blackmagic camera systems.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
