Video Media Coordinator and Network Analyst

About the role
The Video Media Coordinator and Network Analyst coordinates video media technology services for the College, trains and oversees student workers providing media support at events, and delivers network and desktop support for faculty, administration, classrooms, and computer labs. This role requires a highly organized individual comfortable with both technical troubleshooting and managing complex operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and manage audio and video media equipment for College events, including lecture series, press conferences, public speaking events, commencement, and special activities.
- Provide video editing services and coordinate media technology support for the College community and guests.
- Maintain an inventory of media equipment and supervise student workers in delivering media services.
- Deliver first-level IT help desk support and network/PC support, including hardware repairs, software installations, and printer maintenance.
- Configure and maintain classroom and lab computers, including imaging systems each summer and installing software based on semester needs.
- Ensure functionality of classroom technology and computer labs.
- Assist with client wireless configurations, daily backup processes, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Communications Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT services role within an academic institution, nonprofit, or commercial business, providing media and customer support.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network environments, including media management solutions.
- Experience supervising student workers.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems, MS Office applications, and other Albertus technical solutions.
- Experience with video/audio production and editing tools such as Adobe Premiere.
