Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform load-in and load-out of band, broadcast, and rental equipment
- Set up and break down band, broadcast, and event equipment
- Program and operate video switchers and consoles for live events
- Handle cabling and patching while working collaboratively with the full production crew
- Hang, focus, and program lighting equipment as needed, including color balancing for events
- Inspect, monitor, and evaluate video equipment for performance and proper usage
- Operate video control systems
- Supervise touring broadcast teams
- Assist touring video teams with patching and connecting to the house via NDI/broadcast network
- Maintain, protect, and repair all video and broadcast equipment
- Assist with production needs throughout the venue as required
- Support the Production Manager with technical advances with artist representatives
- Ensure proper care and handling of all house and rental video equipment
- Support visiting video technicians, especially during live events
- Maintain relationships with local and national video and broadcast vendors
- Absorb special event video needs are scheduled, executed, and completed professionally

- Interface directly with clients during events to ensure proper run of show
Education And/Or Experience
- Experience with professional video and broadcast systems, stage lighting, and basic audio systems
- Minimum of 3 years of touring or stage production experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional experience may be substituted for education
- Preferred: College degree or technical certification
Skills And Abilities
- Advanced working knowledge of video engineering practices and principles
- Advanced understanding of theater and arena video systems
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Understanding of addressing and patching of conventional and automated equipment
- Proficiency with Vmix, NDI, Tricaster, 3Play, Resolume, Ross Ultrix, Ross Dashboard, SDI, SMPTE fiber, RCP shaders, color correction, TCP/IP networks, video matrices, and DANTE audio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and vendors
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
