About the role

The Video Editor position at Travelzoo is responsible for crafting and refining compelling, high-quality video content. By editing captivating travel and lifestyle stories, you inspire and engage our Travelzoo members across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for the website, newsletters, emails, social media platforms, and app
• Sources engaging video material from travel and entertainment partners as well as licensed platforms
• Collaborates with the Production department, Marketing, PR, and Video Producer to bring campaigns to life
• Maintains brand consistency by following established visual styles and guidelines
• Stays updated on industry trends and explores new editing tools and techniques

Requirements

• Experienced in video editing for lifestyle and travel brands (3+ years)
• Sound judgment of high-quality and attractive content
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of relevant editing projects
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Knowledgeable about travel destinations and lifestyle storytelling
• Passionate about travel and lifestyle content

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
