About The Role
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic marketing team in a remote capacity based in Georgia. This is a full-time position focused on creating high-performing paid social video ads for Nysonian's brands.
- Transform raw footage into compelling, platform-optimized video content that drives engagement, conversions, and scaling of advertising spend.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, copywriters, and strategists, to develop creative assets that align with brand objectives and marketing goals.
- Produce engaging narratives, integrate motion graphics and sound, and adapt long-form content into short-form formats suitable for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- 2–4 years of professional video editing experience in fast-paced environments such as agencies, D2C brands, or eCommerce
- Proficiency in editing tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software
- Experience with AI-driven video tools like Runway ML or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of content formats and performance metrics across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Meta platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality, high-performing video content
- Knowledge of motion graphics, basic animation, and sound design
- Able to focus on storytelling with an emphasis on marketing outcomes such as CTR, engagement, and ROAS
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Trend-savvy with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovative content creation
- Team-oriented, independent, and data-driven mindset for testing and optimizing content
Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality video assets for social media, paid ads, websites, and marketing campaigns
- Develop compelling narratives with strong hooks, pacing, and platform-specific storytelling techniques
- Transform user-generated content, influencer footage, and brand footage into polished, performance-driven videos
- Integrate motion graphics, captions, music, and sound effects to enhance content engagement
- Convert long-form videos into short-form formats optimized for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
- Stay updated on platform best practices, trends, and emerging technologies to continually improve creative output
