About the role
Splendid Farms is a trusted leader within the agri-food industry, delivering exceptional value through a comprehensive range of services including exportation, marketing, packaging, logistics, and agricultural production. We are currently seeking a creative and talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in New York, NY, United States. The ideal candidate will be a passionate storyteller with a keen eye for detail and a strong technical aptitude for video editing.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality content suitable for our website, social media channels, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Incorporate graphics, visual effects, music, and sound to create engaging and impactful videos.
- Review and refine video content based on feedback from key stakeholders.
- Ensure a logical sequence and smooth flow in all finished projects.
- Manage and organise a library of video assets for current and future use.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, editing techniques, and software to continuously improve our video content.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio of work.
- Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects.
- A strong understanding of narrative, pacing, colour grading, and composition.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- A degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
