Video Editing Intern
About the role
Ready to grow as a creative video editor? Join our team at Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” and help our corporate Communications team tell stories that highlight the people, projects, and innovations shaping communities. In this role, you’ll focus primarily on post-production, helping edit video projects across internal initiatives and external client requests. You’ll collaborate with producers, directors, and project teams to shape raw footage into polished, engaging stories while gaining hands-on experience in a professional communications environment. You’ll have a supervisor guiding you every step of the way, offering mentorship and feedback as you build your editing skills, strengthen your creative judgment, and learn how video supports communications across the firm. This position is based in Raleigh, NC, with flexibility for remote work during the academic year; candidates should be available to work in office when school schedules allow such as during summer break. This internship is expected to average approximately 10–25 hours per week during the academic year, with scheduling flexibility based on class schedules and project needs.
