Video/Audio Producer, Vox’s The Gray Area
Who You Are
- 5+ years producing high-quality video and audio content, ideally for longform conversational, interview-driven, or idea-focused shows.
- 5+ years of audio engineering experience in podcast production, radio, or other audio production.
- Strong expertise in Descript for both video and audio editing.
- Solid proficiency in Pro Tools for advanced audio cleanup and mixing.
- Strong working knowledge of Premiere, with familiarity in After Effects for light motion graphics or template adjustments.
- Substantial experience with YouTube publishing best practices—including thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Riverside or similar remote recording tools.
- Experience with remote production workflows involving multiple collaborators and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with microphones, eq, compression, and producing content to meet loudness standards.
- Demonstrated experience with Pro Tools, Izotope RX, Riverside or other remote AoIP production platforms, and other common audio production tools.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. Pay Range $99,000 - $115,000 USD
