About Swish Breaks

Swish Breaks is a sports and entertainment company focused on the trading card hobby. They operate daily live shows on platforms like Fanatics Live, Whatnot, and TikTok, featuring breaks of cards from various sports, Pokémon, WWE, Disney, and more under channels such as Swish Breaks, Swish Wax, Swish Bats, Swish Smash, Swish Sealed, and PokéSwish. They are expanding their social presence and creating a content engine that mirrors the energy of their lives.

The Role

We are seeking a Video and Graphics Editor Intern who excels in CapCut, Premiere, and Photoshop (or similar tools) and sees every video as a product. Your responsibilities include:

• Edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts—hooking viewers within the first second and maintaining clean pacing with engaging captions.
• Cut live break highlights into compelling clips that capture the essence of a moment, including reactions, slow-mo shots, and replays.
• Create graphics and thumbnails for posts, stories, episode covers, and show branding across all Swish accounts.
• Develop motion graphics and overlays for live shows, recap videos, and event coverage.
• Maintain visual consistency across Swish Breaks, Swish Smash, and PokéSwish.
• Iterate quickly—our team ships content daily and tests what resonates best.

What You'll Do

Specific tasks include:

What We're Looking For

• A strong portfolio or reel showcasing short-form video editing (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)—required.
• Proficiency in video and photo editing software(s).
• A keen eye for design—attention to typography, color, composition, and hierarchy.
• The ability to distinguish between AI-generated content and high-quality work.
• A genuine interest in sports, trading cards, or entertainment.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Self-starter attitude and a willingness to bring new ideas to the table.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Design, Communications, or equivalent self-taught experience.
