About the role

Fontainebleau Miami Beach blends Golden Era glamour with modern luxury on oceanfront Collins Avenue. As a Service Bartender, you will prepare and serve cocktails and non‑alcoholic beverages for guests while upholding hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails and non‑alcoholic beverages in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to hotel standards.
• Take drink orders from guests and serve drinks.
• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to standard recipes.
• Serve wine and draft or bottled beer.
• Collect money for drinks served.
• Adhere to proper par stock ordering procedures.
• Complete and oversee set‑up and clearing of the bar area.
• Monitor and train apprentices.
• Receive training in this role.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in a high‑quality, high‑volume operation.

Skills

• Knowledge and use of flare bartending skills.
• Knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages.
• Strong knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Ability to handle money and make correct change.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
