Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership for major water and wastewater projects—from studies and preliminary reports to design, bidding, and construction services.
- Oversee the technical quality and regulatory compliance of all engineering deliverables.
- Serve as Engineer of Record, certifying plans and documentation as required.
- Act as the primary client liaison, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycles.
- Cook up and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and project managers, promoting continuous professional development.
- Drive business development initiatives, including proposal writing, client presentations, and strategic growth planning for the water resources division.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- 15+ years of progressive experience in water resources engineering, including team leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in water and wastewater design.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local water and wastewater regulations.
- Demonstrated success in project execution, client engagement, and business development.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
