About the role

The Vice President, Software Development will own end-to-end delivery accountability for all S&D-led products towards Operating Units, acting as the single point of accountability for execution, delivery quality, and adoption. The role bridges platform capabilities and OU operational needs, ensuring scalable, high-quality delivery while establishing a strong delivery culture and driving continuous improvement across a complex, global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Warehouse Software (WxS, including MyMa and third-party solutions) and additional digital products within S&D
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Operating Units, acting as the primary interface for all delivery-related topics and aligning business and software outcomes
  • Ensure delivery excellence across schedule, quality, and adoption, holding both the delivery organization and OUs accountable for outcomes
  • Ensure effective consumption of platform capabilities provided by the Head of Platform, avoiding duplication and reinforcing the KIOS vision
  • Lead and scale the largest delivery organization within S&D, setting standards for execution, performance, and delivery culture
  • Identify delivery gaps and continuously improve processes, methods, and tools (PMT) in collaboration with the Software Excellence function
  • Ensure structured feedback loops from delivery into platform development, enabling continuous improvement and alignment

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience in large-scale software delivery, engineering, or technology leadership roles
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Skills

  • Proven leadership of large-scale, globally distributed software delivery organizations
  • Strong experience managing complex stakeholder environments with commercial (OU-facing) accountability
  • Deep understanding of delivery models in platform-dependent environments (platform-as-consumer model)
  • Experience in hardware-software integrated product environments
  • Portfolio and multi-product delivery management expertise
  • Strong ability to translate technical complexity into business value
  • Experience in industrial, automotive, or complex systems environments preferred

Pay

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $200,000.00 to $300,000.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
