The Role

LMI Technologies is the global leader in 3D scanning and inspection. We are now standing at our most exciting frontier: disrupting the 2D Smart Camera market. We are looking for a strategic architect to lead our high-performing global sales organization of 58 professionals, including four regional managers, a 12-person sales operations team, and dedicated training specialists. This is a role for a leader who wants to "move mountains" by synchronizing world-class engineering with aggressive, global market expansion.

Work Authorization & Location Requirements

  • We are seeking candidates who currently hold valid, unrestricted work authorization for either Canada or the United States.
  • We will consider applicants residing in, or willing to relocate to, one of the following strategic regions:
    • Vancouver, BC (Burnaby HQ)
    • Seattle / Bellevue, WA

The Technical Strategist

  • You hold an Engineering or Commerce degree and possess at least 10 years of professional sales leadership experience.
  • You have a working knowledge of both 2D and 3D machine vision.
  • You are likely already familiar with LMI’s ecosystem and ready to leverage that knowledge.

The Industry Expert

  • You possess deep cross-cultural competence and thrive in an environment that requires 50% international travel to engage with teams and partners.
  • You are "expert-level" in using technology and CRM infrastructure to optimize revenue intelligence and resolve systemic sales funnel challenges.
  • You have the "emotional intelligence" to build bridges quickly and the technical depth to remain credible when selling technology to engineers.

Connecting

  • Building authentic relationships with our four regional teams and establishing a strategic presence at HQ.
  • Diving deep into the unique regional market opportunities and LMI’s technical landscape.
  • Establishing high-level connections with major distribution partners and our largest OEM customers.
