Vice President, Risk / Policy Management
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to decide which sections to include based on content.
We have:
- Company Profile: description of Morgan Stanley, Firm Risk Management division. Could be "About the role"? Actually "Company Profile" is about the firm, not role. Could be "About the role" maybe not. But we could include a section "About the firm" but not in list of allowed headings. The allowed headings list includes: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We should map content to these.
We have "What You’ll Do" -> Responsibilities.
We have "What You’ll Bring To The Role" -> Requirements/Qualifications/Skills. It includes degree requirement, years of experience, specific skills. Could split into Requirements (education + experience) and Skills (technical). Or combine.
We have "What You Can Expect From Morgan Stanley" -> Benefits/ culture description. Could be Benefits.
We have Pay info: Expected base pay rates between $180,000 and $250,000 per year. Also mention total compensation etc. So we can include Pay section.
Schedule: Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. That's schedule info (remote work). So we can include Schedule section.
We should not include headings with filler. All these have real content.
We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences.
We need to use
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include details from each section.
Let's extract content.
Company Profile: "Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment, and wealth management services. The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide, including corporations, governments, and individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries. In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives."
We could put this under "About the role"? Actually "About the role" is more about the role itself, but we have no explicit "About the role". Could treat Company Profile as "About the role"? Might be okay. Or we could omit Company Profile if not fitting headings. But we need to preserve ALL substantive information; we cannot drop it. So we need to include it somewhere. Perhaps we can create a section "About the role" and put the company profile there, even though it's about the firm. The instruction says use headings e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, etc. It doesn't forbid other headings? It says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It implies those are the allowed headings. So we should map content to those headings. Company profile could go under "About the role" as context. That seems acceptable.
Responsibilities: from "What You’ll Do In The Role": list of duties:
- Reviewing, effectively challenging model assumptions, mathematical formulation, implementation of supervisory rules and if necessary, independently testing Internal Liquidity Stress Testing (ILST) and Net Interest Income Sensitivity models covering the Firm’s activities in US, Europe and Asia.
- Proactively communicating with the global and regional treasury and liquidity risk teams on ongoing validations and any model issues that may come up.
- Answer regulatory and internal audit requests related to MRM activities on ILST and Net interest Income, attending regulatory meetings.
- Develop and review existing monitoring and quantify model risks due to model limitations and thematic risks including developing compensating controls.
- Develop high-quality validation reports highlighting risks and limitations of models and communicate findings to stakeholders, senior management, and governance Committees.
- Collaborate with Global MRM teams, Model Control Officers, Regulatory Capital Controllers, Finance and Risk Managers to manage model risk across the model lifecycle.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. (Actually that's schedule, but it's in the responsibilities paragraph. We'll treat schedule separately.)
We need to put these as - .
Requirements: education and years experience.
From "What You’ll Bring To The Role": Requires a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study. Requires two (2) years of experience in Model/Anlys/Valid Senior Manager, Quantitative Risk Modeler, Senior Vice President, Financial Quantitative Analyst, Analyst, or a related occupation.
We could put these under Requirements (or Qualifications). We'll use Requirements for education+experience.
Skills: list of specific skills: "Requires 2 years of experience with each of the following skills:" then a long list:
- model development or validation in treasury or liquidity risk management functions with sound understanding of model lifecycle and validation report;
- the banking regulatory environment, including with Bank of International Settlements (BIS) PRINCIPLES IN Basel III, BCBS 239, FRTB;
- quantitative programming skills including Python, R, and advanced excel knowledge;
- data visualization and data analytics;
- model development or validation on capital planning requirements and practices from FRB including CCAR, DFAST, OCC, ECB, and PRA;
- core banking, investment and trading products;
- banking regulations: FRB SR 11-07, SR 12-17, SR 14-08, SR 15-18, PRA SS1/23, EBA CRD/CRR, ECB Guide to ICAAP;
- data lineage and database schema; working with large datasets, data warehouse.
We can put these under Skills as
- .
Benefits: from "What You Can Expect From Morgan Stanley": description of firm values, benefits, perks, etc. We'll capture substantive content: "At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals. We do it in a way that’s differentiated – and we’ve done that for 90 years. Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren’t just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. At Morgan Stanley, you’ll find an opportunity to work alongside the best and the brightest, in an environment where you are supported and empowered. Our teams are relentless collaborators and creative thinkers, fueled by their diverse backgrounds and experiences. We are proud to support our employees and their families at every point along their work-life journey, offering some of the most attractive and comprehensive employee benefits and perks in the industry. There’s also ample opportunity to move about the business for those who show passion and grit in their work."
We can put that as
under Benefits.
Pay: from "Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $180,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs."
We'll put that as
under Pay.
Schedule: "Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week." We'll put as
under Schedule.
We need to ensure we don't repeat content. The Telecommuting line appears also in Responsibilities; we should not duplicate. We'll keep it only under Schedule (or maybe under Responsibilities but we need schedule section). Since it's substantive, we can include under Schedule and not duplicate in Responsibilities. However the responsibilities list originally included that line; we could omit it from responsibilities to avoid duplication. The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we remove it from responsibilities, we still preserve it in schedule section. That's fine.
Now we need to output HTML fragment.
