Vice President - Research and Development

About the role

This role will guide development strategy across a portfolio of products and technologies, with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled capabilities and disciplined execution. The Vice President will partner closely with executive leadership to translate business priorities into clear development plans, strengthen delivery quality, and advance responsible AI practices. This leader will also help shape the team’s technical direction, productivity standards, and cross-functional coordination in support of customer and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into actionable development plans, prioritizing an AI roadmap
• Ensure timely delivery of development projects using AI-assisted tools to improve quality
• Provide strategic planning and technical input to product development activities
• Drive adoption of AI developer tooling and establish productivity standards
• Lead the development of AI-enabled capabilities for finance and administrative functions
• Establish responsible AI practices around data governance and transparency
• Communicate strategy and development progress to executive leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience leading software development teams
• P&L experience for managing budgets and financials
• Portfolio management experience across multiple products and technologies
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and delivering AI features in production software
