Vice President, Property Tax Compliance

About the role

The Property Tax – Complex Advisory/Compliance Vice President will manage a team of personal property analysts and senior associates who provide comprehensive property tax cycle management services to Kroll's client base in the power generation, midstream, telecommunications, and complex manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present client valuation positions
• Review assessor workpapers, models, and valuation inputs
• Interface with assessors to resolve property tax disputes
• Coordinate with clients on tax accrual and bill payment issues
• Drive business development activities
• Assist in property tax compliance activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of relevant personal property tax compliance and/or advisory experience
• Excellent project management and presentation skills
• Strong relationship management and entrepreneurial spirit
• Sound knowledge of personal property tax forms and procedures
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel

Qualifications

• Professional certification in property tax valuation preferred
• Experience working with complex tax issues
• Ability to travel as needed

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
