Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a global team of Solution Engineers and industry experts, overseeing technical discovery, demos, POCs, and proposal development while enhancing overall team performance.
- Standardize and optimize pre-sales processes, including demo and POC execution, to improve win rates, shorten sales cycles, and increase efficiency.
- Develop scalable engagement models, resource planning strategies, and solution frameworks to support enterprise and mid-market opportunities.
- Align pre-sales strategy with revenue objectives by driving value-based selling, emphasizing business outcomes, and accelerating pipeline progression.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to refine messaging, influence product direction, and ensure alignment from sale through implementation.
- Establish performance metrics, operational processes, and enablement programs—including tools, training, and career development—to continuously improve team effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical sales, or pre-sales leadership within enterprise software environments, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success building and managing global pre-sales teams composed of both technical engineers and domain experts.
- Proven ability to improve sales performance metrics such as win rates, deal velocity, and pipeline conversion through structured processes and cross-functional alignment.
- Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders and navigating large, multi-layered enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong technical foundation in cloud-based platforms, system integrations, APIs, and enterprise architecture.
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear, compelling business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of enterprise procurement considerations, including security, compliance, and governance requirements.
Pay
Salary range: $190,000 - $240,000 + bonus

This is a full-time leadership opportunity that can sit in Austin, TX or be remote.
