The VP, Global Sales and Customer Solutions will be responsible for profitable revenue growth, maintaining world-class customer support, and developing resilient customer relationships. This individual will lead and develop a highly effective and competitively advantaged Sales organization, as well as oversee the Customer Solutions group, which actively manages customer needs related to quoting, order placement, delivery, expedites, and associated transactional issues.
Responsibilities
Sales Organization
- Develops and executes annual sales plan in support of revenue, profit, and market segment objectives.
- Organizes and develops a Sales organization that demonstrates competitive advantage, delivers profit based upon “Value Selling,” and grows a wealthy bank of customer trust.
- Partners with Marketing & Engineering to continuously evolve and refine organizational effectiveness through rigorous sales training, product training, technical training, and new product development.
- Continuously tracks and prioritizes opportunities, learning from both wins and losses.
- Directs implementation and execution of sales policies (discounting, commission plans, etc.).
- Builds or maintains dependable executive-level relationships with customers.
- Recommends sales and/or marketing strategies for growth based on customer, competitor, and market knowledge.
- Manages or develops multiple-channel selling strategies where applicable.
Customer Solutions (CSS) Organization
- Ensures organization objectives are aligned with top-level objectives for customer relationships and responsiveness.
- Ensures site-to-site consistency of methods.
- Leverages the team to drive continuous improvements (cost, productivity, response time, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science; MBA or master’s-level education preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, preferably in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
- Sales management experience within the semiconductor, technical, or services space.

Schedule & Travel
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment.
- Overnight travel may be required depending on assignment (training and meetings), up to 70%.
