Vice President of Sales
Accountabilities
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth, expand market presence, and strengthen client relationships. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage complex sales cycles, understand customer needs, and collaborate across teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Lead sales efforts for technology and professional service solutions targeting law firms, corporations, and government organizations across the United States.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through outreach, meetings, presentations, and ongoing engagement.
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, industry research, and relationship development.
Create compelling sales proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) related to specialized technology and service solutions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and commercial terms while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to identify areas for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with executive leadership and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery and consistent client communication.
Maintain strong knowledge of market developments, customer challenges, and competitive offerings to strengthen sales positioning.
Contribute to broader business growth initiatives and support additional strategic priorities as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales executive with a strong background in technology-driven solutions, SaaS, or professional services. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, consultative selling expertise, negotiation skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred, or equivalent demonstrated success in sales.
Proven experience selling eDiscovery services, SaaS solutions, software products, or technology-enabled services.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
Understanding of software technology, SaaS business models, and/or the eDiscovery industry.
Ability to identify customer challenges and position solutions that deliver measurable value.
Strong negotiation skills with experience managing pricing discussions and contract agreements.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Able to prioritize effectively and solve problems in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with executive teams and cross-functional departments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
Legal technology, litigation support, or paralegal experience is a plus.
