Vice President of Product Development, Building Operations

For a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking a Vice President of Product Development – Building Operations to lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. This role offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance.

About the role

You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year product strategy for building operations, focusing on client value and feasibility
• Define commercial outcomes including value propositions and pricing strategies tied to efficiency gains
• Translate market demand into strategic product commitments and roadmap priorities
• Transform priority opportunities into globally deployable service offerings and lead the go-to-market strategy
• Lead a cross-functional product team and secure alignment with account leadership and technology
• Drive enterprise-wide shifts to predictive maintenance and redesign work processes for scale
• Sponsor pilots across building types to validate feasibility and support global deployment

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years in senior leadership roles in facilities engineering or closely related fields
• Experience managing complex portfolios like commercial or healthcare operations
• Proven track record in driving large-scale product or operational transformation
• Deep knowledge of AI, automation, and smart building technologies
• History of improving client outcomes through superior product quality

$310,000 – $340,000 annually
