Vice President of Land Planning and Development

About the role

As the Vice President of Land Planning and Development, you will own the strategy and execution of the business plan related to forward planning and land development. You will be responsible for all planning and development functions for projects, focusing on feasibilities, planning, entitlement, financial analysis, and overall management of the land development process. You will manage the Planning and Development teams to ensure their success and work closely with the business unit President and the Land Acquisition team to meet the Corporation’s business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business plan for forward planning and land development.
• Oversee all planning and development functions for projects, including feasibilities, planning, entitlement, and financial analysis.
• Manage the overall land development process.
• Lead and support the Planning and Development teams to ensure they are set up for success.
• Collaborate with the business unit President and Land Acquisition team to meet corporate business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; background in Civil Engineering, Planning, or Construction Management preferred.
• At least ten years of land planning and/or development experience in progressively responsible positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

Annual salary of $218,000 - $245,000 plus bonus potential.
