What You'll Do
- Engineering Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development and release of SpyCloud's cybersecurity solutions, ensuring high-quality and high-speed delivery.
- Technical Leadership: Set technical direction and lead the engineering organization in adopting new technologies and ways of working, fostering a culture where innovation, speed, and agility are paramount.
- Agentic Development & AI-DLC: Lead the team's transition to agentic development practices and develop, implement, and enforce adherence to an AI Development Lifecycle AI-DLC that accelerates delivery while preserving scale, quality, and security.
- Technology Stack: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring SpyCloud's technology stack remains competitive and up-to-date.
- Scalability and Performance: Lead efforts to enhance product scalability, performance, and reliability to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
- Innovation & Agility: Cultivate a high-performing engineering organization where innovation and agility are the top priorities, empowering teams to experiment, adopt agentic practices, and move quickly.
- Data Security: Ensure adherence to best practices for data security and privacy in product development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product management, marketing, compliance, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high product standards and reduce defects.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of engineering leadership experience, ideally in the cybersecurity or identity industry.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex software products.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse engineering team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in driving technical innovation and embracing emerging technologies.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams through the transition to agentic development practices without sacrificing scale, quality, or security.
- Experience developing and enforcing an AI Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) or comparable framework governing AI-assisted software delivery.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as a Vice President or similar executive role in engineering is preferred.
Pay
Base Salary Range: $187,000 – $280,000
