For our client, a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space, we are seeking a Vice President of Network Development & Contracting to join their team. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance in a healthcare environment.
About the role
You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Direct and execute the provider network and contracting strategy
- Establish strategic vision and develop policies for the contracting department
- Oversee staff and consultants in provider network development across markets
- Conduct analyses of the provider network focusing on cost, coverage, and growth
- Lead efforts to evaluate and adapt the network to meet corporate goals and expansion plans
- Manage budget and forecast initiatives related to network costs and contracts
- Facilitate provider contract analysis for market expansion and M&A due diligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA or MHA preferred
- 10+ years experience in managed care network development and provider relations/contracting management
- Previous management experience in hiring, training, and performance management
- Proven expertise in budgeting and forecasting initiatives for healthcare networks
- Ability to analyze claims data and market information effectively
Pay
$188,900 – $359,800 annually
