Vice President, National Relationships
About the role
Responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic national partner relationships while serving as the primary point of contact for key national accounts. This role leads relationship strategy, stewardship planning, performance analytics, and executive reporting to ensure consistent engagement, profitable growth, and alignment across sales, underwriting, operations, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the executive relationship owner for assigned national partners and strategic accounts.
- Develop and execute relationship strategies that strengthen partnerships and drive profitable growth.
- Lead stewardship meetings and business reviews with key partners.
- Carefully coordinate national relationship activities across regional sales teams and internal stakeholders.
- Establish consistent communication plans and engagement standards for strategic accounts.
- Identify emerging relationship opportunities and risks and recommend appropriate action plans.
- Own the collection, analysis, and reporting of national relationship performance metrics.
- Develop executive dashboards and scorecards tracking premium growth, revenue trends, profitability metrics, producer performance, market share opportunities, and pipeline activity.
- Achieve data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
- Deliver meaningful business insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages, presentations, and quarterly business reviews.
- Present relationship performance, growth opportunities, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Create concise and impactful presentations for board, executive committee, and senior leadership meetings.
- Translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to support relationship strategies.
- Facilitate alignment across business units to ensure consistent messaging and service delivery.
- Lead strategic initiatives that improve partner satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Drive accountability for relationship management objectives throughout the organization.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market developments.
- Identify opportunities to expand wallet share and strengthen strategic partnerships.
- Recommend enhancements to relationship management processes and reporting capabilities.
- Support annual planning and forecasting initiatives.
Requirements
4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field. 12 Years in relationship management, sales leadership, business development, or strategic account management. Experience managing national accounts or enterprise-level relationships. Demonstrated success in executive communications and presenting to senior leadership. Strong experience with business analytics, reporting, and dashboard development. Executive presence and relationship-building expertise. Strong analytical and business intelligence capabilities. Advanced Excel, Power BI, CRM, and reporting system proficiency. Strategic planning and project leadership skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to synthesize large datasets into executive-level insights. Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities.

Benefits
The pay range for this position is $199,000-$243,000, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
