Vice President – Liquidity Advisor
About the role
BNP Paribas seeks a liquidity sales professional to join its Liquidity & Investment Advisory (LIA) team within Transaction Banking Americas. The LIA team acts as a trusted and strategic advisor to large multinational corporations across the range of liquidity and investment solutions and products while ensuring that the Bank’s balance sheet is well funded with high quality deposits.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and act as the single point of contact on the range of liquidity and investment solutions by understanding their investment policies, risk management practices, and geographical footprint.
- Leverage existing portfolio relationships while developing new ones to secure high quality deposits that meet the Bank’s funding needs and identify additional streams.
- Coordinate closely with Corporate Coverage and global partners on client wallet share, relationship history and existing as well as potential opportunities to ensure a holistic approach.
- Coordinate with product management team and execution desk to align on deposit pricing strategy and funding needs.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of solutions, regulatory framework, industry trends and best practices - as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in and lead industry thought leadership opportunities at internal and external conferences and seminars.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in liquidity sales (balance sheet and off-balance sheet products) in a client-facing role.
- Series 7 and 63 or willingness to obtain it.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Other qualifications (e.g. CTP, CFA, etc.) are welcomed.
- Domestic travel required (up to 40%).
- Strong knowledge of and experience with deposit products, money market funds, separately managed accounts, repos, and other solutions required.
- Knowledge of global liquidity management structures and practices preferred.

Pay
The expected starting salary range for this position is between $170,000 to $200,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
Schedule
Domestic travel required (up to 40%).
