Vice President - GPUaaS
Based in Sunnyvale, CA, we are an innovative energy infrastructure company that develops cutting-edge data centers to drive the expansion of sustainable energy assets. We are looking for a Vice President with GPUaaS & Token Factory experience to translate our GPUaaS services vision into a running, monetizable platform. Must be local to Sunnyvale, CA or willing to relocate for this hybrid position (4 days working on-site).
About the role
Architect the GPUaaS platform (compute rental, control plane) and the Token Factory inference layer (vLLM, an OpenAI-compatible API, and an open-weight model marketplace and storefront). Hire and lead a high-performance, forward-deployed engineering team with skills spanning Agile Product Releases, AI Engineering, MLOps, AI Kernel and Cluster, DCIM, and GPU Networking. Execute the staged path from bare-metal GPU through managed Kubernetes, AI workbench, inference, and private AI cloud, governed by Revenue per MW and Platform Attach Rate.
Requirements
- 8+ years of cloud-native and AI-native experience, working recently in high-growth AI startups and scale-ups.
- Ability to build AI services on top of GPU bare-metal and cloud compute.
- Experience with managed Kubernetes and GPU scheduling platforms.
- Experience with token and inference-based pricing models and the economics of moving up the stack, from GPU to platform to inference.
- Prior experience at a Neocloud, GPU cloud provider, or an AI infrastructure software company preferred.

Pay
$300,000–$400,000 salary
