Vice President, Fund Manager - Private Equity

About the role

This role is located in New York, NY and requires 4 days of in-office work. The responsibilities include conducting accounting services on behalf of assigned clients and complex funds, leading work of junior team members, providing input into methodologies, reviewing complex work, guiding cash and asset reconciliations, interacting with clients, and evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules.

Responsibilities

  • Determine net asset values and calculate fund performance
  • Allocate expenses and prepare reports
  • Lead work of junior team members
  • Provide guidance on complex accounting responsibilities
  • Develop service improvement plans and enhance processes
  • Conduct specialist reviews
  • Interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted issues
  • Evaluate GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine impact of new regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
  • Ability to provide guidance to less experienced team members and potentially take on Team Lead responsibilities

Qualifications

  • May have people management responsibilities in some geographies

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems

Pay

The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

This role requires 4 days of in-office work per week.
