Financial Restructuring
The Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey, Inc. advises on more than 1,900 restructuring transactions with aggregate debt claims exceeding $4 trillion. With offices globally, the group serves clients in domestic and international markets, offering a broad range of financial advisory and investment banking services.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution on a variety of transactions, including debtor- and creditor-side engagements ranging from capital markets and refinancing transactions to M&A and broad restructurings.
- Prepare, analyze, and help explain historical and projected financial information.
- Coordinate and perform business due diligence, lead, and execute M&A transactions.
- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations.
- Value companies and businesses.
- Aid in the marketing and planning of engagements.
- Lead a deal team including associates and analysts, serving as the “day to day” point person to drive a process and interact with the client.
- Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors.
Qualifications
- Qualification: Degree qualified
- Experience: 7-11 years’ experience in Restructuring or Leveraged Finance
- Deal Execution: Proven deal execution experience in Financial Restructuring, Leveraged Finance, or M&A
- Client Interaction: Demonstrable experience in leading discussions with senior client executives and target management
- Financial Analysis: Develop and review financial models, highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Credit Documents: Strong understanding of credit documents and liability management transactions
- Assignment Management: Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, motivated, creative, outgoing, and possess strong skills in financial analysis
- Supervision: Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory, excellent verbal and written communication skills, assist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development efforts, develop professional network and relationships with firm, client, and target professionals, management skills in supervising and training staff
Compensation And Benefits
Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is: $250,000-$260,000. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
