Vice President, Financial Advisor (Partner Programs)

About the role

Wealth Enhancement is an independent wealth management firm dedicated to enriching the lives of our clients through personalized financial planning. We serve over 80,000 households across 140 offices nationwide since 1997.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships and assist with managing complex clients to the WEG planning-based standard of identity
  • Facilitate the financial planning process
  • Understand their current financial situation
  • Engage them in the financial planning process
  • Prepare and conduct annual reviews, including both planning and investment topics
  • Aid the RVP in closing prospective clients
  • Aid the RVP in closing leads provided by various WEG channels (Marketing, CRP, etc.)
  • Create opportunities within your network
  • Drive referrals from existing clients
  • Manage client relationships and client service as needed
  • Take meeting notes and promptly enter into the CRM
  • Present financial advice or plan to client
  • Analyze client’s current investments and insurance policies
  • Place trades and manage accounts
  • Participate in Wealth Enhancement Group trainings, educational events, coaching programs, and proficient in advisor/client facing technology
  • Adhere to the Wealth Enhancement Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy and maintain compliance standing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; finance, economics or related
  • Minimum 5 consecutive years as a registered representative (IAR) holding a Series 65 or 7/ 66 or advanced designation
  • Experience with complex financial planning (including tax, alternative investments, trust and estate)
  • Ability to convert prospects to clients and provide high-level planning-oriented service to a fast-growing book of business
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both oral & written)
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
  • Able to travel locally to meet clients and attend meetings at various locations

Qualifications

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $200k - $250k annually. This range reflects a base salary and variable compensation; the company in good faith believes it would pay in this range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will depend on your qualifications, skills, and credentials, educational and professional experience and actual compensation will depend on your productivity and sales numbers and can be below or exceed the range.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area, with a flexible schedule that includes client and prospect meetings.
