Vice President, Expert Services

Kroll’s Expert Services practice provides valuation, economic consulting, forensic accounting, and other financial and investigative services to attorneys and companies involved in litigation, among other forms of disputes and investigations. Responsibilities
- Manage staff to ensure engagement execution within established timeframes
- Assist engagement teams in providing guidance to attorneys on key economic, financial, and business issues
- Assist engagement teams in the development and evaluation of valuation analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models
- Assist engagement teams in the development and evaluation of damages claims and other financial calculations
- Organize and analyze large data sets to provide meaningful conclusions
- Prepare written reports and presentations for clients
- Review internal and external communications, including client proposals and expert reports
- Perform assigned tasks with minimal oversight
- Independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, client site visits, and independent research
- Contribute directly to the development of work product, expert reports, proposals, presentations, and publications communicated to current and prospective clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Professional licenses or certifications, such as a CFA, CPA, ASA, ABV, or CVA is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, including practical experience in valuation disputes/damages analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of economic and financial theory and financial statement analysis
- Demonstrated experience supporting expert opinions and providing financial analytical services to attorneys
- Demonstrated experience providing client-ready written deliverables
- Proven project management and presentation skills
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint skills

Pay
The current salary range for this position is $90,000 to $200,000.
