Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for Industrial Technology companies.
- Conduct comprehensive fundamental research on industry trends, technological innovations, competitive dynamics, and company-specific catalysts.
- Perform valuation and financial analysis to support stock recommendations and investment theses.
- Develop differentiated, value-added research that generates actionable insights for institutional investors.
- Prepare earnings previews, earnings analyses, thematic research reports, and sector updates.
- Lead meetings and interactions with company management teams, industry experts, and institutional investors.
- Monitor earnings releases, macroeconomic developments, regulatory changes, supply chain trends, and technological advancements impacting the Industrial Technology sector.
- Develop expertise across key end markets including Aerospace, Defense, EVs, Autonomous Vehicles, eVTOLs, Robotics, Humanoids, and Emerging Technologies.
- Communicate investment views and recommendations to institutional clients through reports, calls, conferences, and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with senior analysts, sales and trading teams, and research management on coverage expansion, client engagement, and strategic research initiatives.
- Mentor and develop junior research associates and analysts while contributing to team leadership and execution.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of Technology-focused equity research experience.
- Strong understanding of the Industrial Technology ecosystem, including Aerospace, Defense, Automation, Robotics, Electrification, Mobility, and Emerging Technologies.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation skills.
- Prominent ability to analyze complex business models and synthesize information into clear investment conclusions.
- Demonstrated experience publishing research and supporting actionable stock recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong client-facing experience with institutional investors and company management teams.
- Demonstrated passion for equity markets, Industrial Technology, and fundamental research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- CFA, CPA designation and/or MBA preferred.
- FINRA Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses preferred.
