Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a unified enterprise technology strategy spanning applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI enablement
  • Establish governance, standards, and operating models to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives
  • Drive enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives
  • Lead strategy, delivery, and support of enterprise applications, including ERP (e.g., Workday), HR, finance, and other corporate systems
  • Ensure systems are scalable, integrated, and aligned with business processes and data strategy
  • Partner with functional leaders to prioritize enhancements and improve system adoption and business outcomes
  • Oversee infrastructure strategy and operations across corporate environments and distributed store locations
  • Lead cloud infrastructure, networking, compute, endpoint systems, and in-store technology infrastructure supporting POS, back office, gaming, and other operational systems
  • Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and platform engineering practices to improve scalability and efficiency
  • Achieve high availability through strong operational disciplines including monitoring, incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery
  • Develop and execute the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and governance framework
  • Lead security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning
  • Oversee Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID (Azure AD), Purview, Intune, Azure, and Microsoft 365
  • Drive identity and access management, endpoint security, cloud security, and data protection initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory requirements and integrate cybersecurity into enterprise risk management
  • Lead third-party security reviews, vendor risk assessments, and audit activities
  • Build and mature a Zero Trust security architecture across the enterprise
  • Serve as the enterprise point leader for AI enablement and responsible AI adoption across the business
  • Partner with data, digital, and business teams to identify and scale AI-driven use cases
  • Establish governance, standards, and controls for AI and data usage
  • Enable advanced analytics, automation, and decision intelligence capabilities
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of critical enterprise systems and store technologies
  • Partner with Platform Engineering to support SRE/DevSecOps practices to improve uptime, efficiency, and delivery speed
  • Lead incident management, observability, and continuous improvement programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience across enterprise applications, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale technology environments, including distributed/field operations
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft enterprise ecosystem (Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Azure, Microsoft 365)
  • Experience with cybersecurity operations, cloud security, identity management, and risk/compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, PCI DSS)
  • Experience with AI platforms and services (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini)
  • Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., Workday) and other SaaS enterprise support systems
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts and risks to executive leadership
