Vice President, Enterprise Security
About the Role
The Vice President, Enterprise Security serves as STACK's senior security leader responsible for protecting the company's people, critical infrastructure, operations, executives, customers, and reputation across the Americas. This leader will establish and lead a scalable enterprise security program supporting corporate offices, operational data centers, construction sites, executive activities, and corporate events. The Vice President will build the organization, establish governance, influence executive decision-making, and ensure security capabilities evolve in alignment with STACK's rapid growth. Cyber and information security remain with IT, but the Vice President will coordinate at that boundary.
The successful candidate will bring a strong background in security strategy and management, building and growing a high-performing security team across a portfolio of operating data centers, construction sites, and office locations. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure events are properly evaluated for security risks and controls are implemented for safe execution. Executive security, threat assessment, and travel risk management will also fall under this leadership role. The candidate will oversee and advance physical security technology while establishing and updating processes and methods.
A team player, the Vice President, Enterprise Security will engage across the organization and with external vendors, general contractors, and partners to identify security risks and coordinate appropriate risk control measures. This candidate will foster a culture of security awareness through communication, education, and partnership across all business functions.
STACK operates as a member of the communities that host its sites, and its neighbors are partners. The Vice President builds a program that protects people and property while strengthening those community relationships. The program focuses on genuine threats to safety and does not treat lawful community engagement, public participation, or peaceful expression as security concerns. It is led with sophistication to keep security proportionate, privacy-respecting, and never a burden on the communities STACK serves.
