Vice President, Data Strategist, Global Wealth

About the role
This role will help drive the strategy and agenda of Carlyle Global Wealth, working closely with the group's Chief Operating Officer. The professional will lead descriptive and predictive fundraising analytics to guide sales-related campaigns and further growth, while streamlining strategic priorities for Wealth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs), including fundraising activity, new producers, and revenue growth, providing data-driven insights to guide strategy and optimize outreach.
- Leverage internal data and external market intelligence to drive strategic decision-making and inform management.
- Implement generative AI tools such as ChatGPT to automate processes and integrate them with internal data.
- Provide real-time data to sales leadership to help them make informed decisions, drive revenue growth, enhance relationships, and prioritize global business development opportunities.
- Collaborate with Wealth teams including Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Accounts to ensure data flow, solution integration, and seamless delivery of strategic projects.
- Maintain deep expertise in the alternatives and Wealth Management landscape, staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and investor expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in technology strategy or business intelligence roles, preferably within financial services, private equity, or Wealth Management.
- Proficiency in dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI) and financial advisor data packages (Discovery, Wire/Broker-Dealers).
- Strong knowledge of data automation and analytics.
- Demonstrated understanding of private equity, alternative investments, and Wealth Management, with a proven ability to link data analytics to business strategies.
- Familiarity with the Alternative Asset Management industry, preferably Wealth and the fundraising process.
- Strategic and project management capabilities coupled with strong analytic and financial acumen.
- Track record of improving business/function efficiency through organization, planning, collaboration, issue resolution, and creative problem-solving.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $200,000 (specific to New York City). The hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, dependent on individual and organizational performance.
