About the role

As Vice President, Data Governance, you will lead the development and implementation of robust data governance policies and procedures across the organization. You will ensure that all data management activities align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. This role requires a deep understanding of data governance principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce comprehensive data governance policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between data governance initiatives and business objectives
  • Oversee data quality initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on data governance best practices
  • Monitor and report on data governance metrics and trends
  • Stay updated with emerging data governance trends and technologies

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, information security, or a related field
  • A proven track record of leading complex projects and managing multiple priorities
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CISSP certification preferred
