Vice President, Content Operations

What You'll Do

  • Manage all content operations for a new business unit, including the creation of Content QA processes and customer/DSP content relations.
  • Maintain and distribute audio/video products for customers, deliver to DSPs, update metadata, and ensure quality assurance.
  • Scale distribution services and design systems in collaboration with product, engineering, legal, and royalties teams.
  • Maintain relationships with the content teams of DSPs and our content providers.
  • Manage asset approvals between content providers and internal parties.
  • Build and manage the content team, including creating hiring plans and overseeing team member management.

Requirements

  • Experience & Industry Knowledge: 7-10 years in large-scale digital supply chain distribution management. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Proven track record of delivering audio/video content successfully within the music industry. Experience coordinating with a global, international team and managing across different time zones. Expert knowledge of major DSPs and their behavior. Familiarity with music royalties, rights management, content ID, and YouTube CMS. Previous experience working with various genres of music.
  • Technical Expertise: XML and metadata formatting for music services. Expertise in Audio and Video codecs and editing. Excel experience. Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support software. A detailed understanding of metadata requirements and related issues across all product types, media, and genres.

  • Highly organized, meticulous about follow-up, deadline-oriented, resourceful, and innovative.
