Vice President Client Services
About the role
The Vice President of Client Success serves as the connective hub of the organization, synchronizing client service delivery, product, and client engagement. They serve as the primary point of contact between clients and Acxiom, ensuring every engagement delivers measurable value, fosters loyalty, and supports expansion. Through strategic insight, client expertise, operational excellence, and cross-functional leadership, this role drives stability and forward progress, grounding every engagement in excellence while elevating operations. The role partners with client management leadership to achieve the strategic roadmap for client relationships, leading with ownership, clarity, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
This position collaborates with senior leaders to establish strategic and operational plans, excels in analyzing complex issues, and requires in-depth knowledge of the industry, clients, and company. Experience with external clients in the Automotive OEM industry is preferred. The role may also involve developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and potentially have company-wide impact.
Responsibilities
- Make final decisions on administrative and operational matters for assigned accounts and/or business areas.
- Provide direction to all levels of leadership across various areas, groups, and operations.
- Participate in divisional development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and personnel.
- Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- Work to achieve revenue, expense, gross profit, and gross margin metrics for assigned accounts.
- Regularly interact with executives and/or major customers.
- Collaborate with sales and client services representatives to achieve client engagement objectives.
- Negotiate with customers or management on matters of significance to the account or organization.
- Direct and control the activities of one or more accounts or broad functional areas through multiple Service Partners.
- Manage expense priorities and recommend or implement changes to methods within the business area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of relevant work experience in a production, delivery, or similar client-facing role, including leadership and mentoring of associates.
- Specific exposure to P&C insurance industry direct mail, email, and digital customer engagement management solutions for customer acquisition, ongoing customer relationships, and upsell strategies.
- Strong negotiating skills for client relationships, solution outcomes, and contract development.
- Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Acxiom’s products and solutions.
Schedule
Travel required: less than 30%.
Primary location: Conway, Arkansas. Remote work may be considered for applicants in Colorado, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York City, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington.
