Vice President, Aviation
Responsibilities
- Organizes, controls, integrates and evaluates the work of assigned Client Programs/Projects to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
- Manages major Aviation Programs and Project Teams to successfully complete assigned Consulting, Planning, and Program/Project Management assignments.
- Monitors Hill’s Client Project Assignments to ensure: Program/Projects assignments are carried out per contractual and industry standards, Program/Project financial results meet both Client and Hill expectations, Program/Project delivery schedules adhere to client contractual requirements.
- Conducts Client Expectation surveys at the onset of services, periodically following up with Client Satisfaction interviews throughout the duration of the respective agreement and at the conclusion to ensure expectations were exceeded.
- Audit staffing abilities and identify strategic hires necessary to achieve company goals.
- Support recruiting and management of project staff.
- Utilize existing Hill International training initiatives and adjust to align with the needs of the aviation industry.
- Provide project management and construction management services for buildings and facilities projects for state, local, federal and commercial clients which include new development, rehabilitation and expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or requisite experience and/or degrees in aviation related study.
- Minimum 20 years program and construction management experience in aviation facilities projects for state, local, federal and/or commercial clients, specifically in key role with both technical and management responsibilities.
- Possess extensive experience in airport and airline operations and understand the impact of construction and cost of implementation on an operational airport.
- Significant proposal development experience.
- Proven track-record successfully managing and delivering major aviation programs and projects with contract values in excess of $50M dollars and programs in excess of $500M dollars in construction value.
- Familiarity and strong relationships with local market, contractors, A/E firms and aviation clients.
- Extensive experience with facilities projects for State, Local, Federal and Commercial clients.
- Excellent technical writing, verbal communication and presentation skills.

About the Role
Hill International Aviation is seeking a Vice President – Aviation to join the Global Aviation Management team. The role focuses on Program Consulting and Project/Construction Management delivery, business development, identifying and pursuing opportunities in the public and private sectors for airport facility and infrastructure projects in the U.S. and Canada.
Requirements
