Vice President/Associate – CLO Structuring

About the role

This role provides support to the CLO Structuring team within the CLO Primary business. The candidate should be experienced in CLO Structuring and documentation, having managed deals independently from early stages of formation through closing. The position requires the ability to lead as deal captain in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks and move seamlessly across activities with little direction. Strong quantitative and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key participant in the CLO Structuring process of a CLO primary transaction, managing all parts of the structuring process
• Interact closely with Collateral managers, Equity & Debt Investors and any/all relevant players in a transaction
• Familiarize with rating agency methodologies and negotiate transaction documents with them
• Think outside the box and deliver exceptional service and strategic solutions
• Spearhead the creation of marketing materials for clients/investors the firm is working with
• Mentor junior members of the team and invest highly in their growth

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Attention to detail
• Strong working knowledge of CLO Documentation (Indentures, OMs etc.), CLO modeling tools, and Intex
• Work within a team environment
• At least 5 years of CLO Structuring experience

Skills

• Proficient in computer languages/programming (VBA primarily) is a plus

Pay

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $225,000 to $235,000 at the Vice President level and $150,000 to $200,000 at the Associate level annually.
